The prestigious journal Review of Futures Markets, originally published by the Chicago Board of Trade, resumed publication in 2005, when the CBOT granted permission to Mark Holder, to restart the journal. RFM has now published for five years under Holder's editorship.
During its publication from 1982 through 1994, RFM was named as one of 15 core financial journals and ranked as the 12th journal of finance, based on citations.
Review of Futures Markets, issued quarterly, publishes peer-reviewed, editor selected articles that expand the literature of futures, options, and derivatives research. Selected articles presented at the annual Asia-Pacific Futures Research Symposium are also published.
RFM is referenced in the Journal of Economic Literature and is listed in Cabell's Directory of Publishing Opportunities in Finance.
"Our goal in republishing Review of Futures Markets is to provide an academic research journal that brings a unique balance of theory and practice to the derivatives trading and futures market industry."
